Hi all,
These last weeks, I had to release several videos for presentation purpose. I decided to share these videos with you.
- Model AEDES (developed by Somsakun Maneerat) : model concerning the propagation of the dengue fever in Delhi (and soon in Bankgog). This first model prototype is not yet calibrated but already proposes a very detailed descriptions of mosquitoes life cycle and behaviors. In the video, the cubes represent humans (with a very simple behavior for the moment), yellow spheres represent mosquitoes eggs and larvaes and red sphere mosquitoes (there are quite big.... mosquitoes in India are very dangerous).
- Model MOSAIIC (developed by Guillaume Czura - with my help) : model concerning the impact of industrial accident - in particular concerning mobility - in the city of Rouen (France). This first prototype shows the "normal" behaviors of drivers in the city of Rouen (green cubes). The second part of the video shows a display that represents the emergence of roads (and intersections) that are the most critical (most used by people).
- City evolution tutorial model (developed by me :) ) : tutorial model concerning the household occupation of a city. This model brings into play three main dynamics: the moving of household to another house, the densification of the city (construction of new buildings) and the demography (very simple in this model). The main display shows the moving of household (red sphere : poor people - green sphere : rich people) and the building (each building has a size and a number of floors visible on the 3D). The left-bottom display shows the wealth of each district (color - green rich/ red poor) and the number of inhabitant (z value).
Cheers,
Patrick
