Dear colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to the following symposium at IUGG 2019 in Montréal:
H22 – Time Series of Remote Sensing Data in Water Management
Although Agent-based modelling is not part of the title, we'd welcome applications of joint models combining remote sensing data and agent-based models. Therefore, we'd like to invite you to submit your abstract there.
In the last decade, the availability of temporal variable remote sensing data has been increased significantly.
Several IT-platforms provide large data sets for low costs and open-source software libraries ease the access to machine-learning and state-of-the-art WebGIS applications.
Recently developed technologies like machine-learning allow the investigation of large data sets especially in data-sparse regions and could further ameliorate the benefit drawn from the available data.

Important deadlines to put in the calendar are the following:
- Abstract submission: February 18 2019
- Registration (Early bird rate) April 5 2019
With best regards,
Benjamin Mewes
On behalf of co-conveners,
