Dear All

I have been asked a couple of times in the past few months on transferring variables from one experiment to the next or is it possible during batch experiments (?). I cannot remember which library model clearly shows such an example. Can someone please refer me to that model?

thanks

Dear Srirama,

First of all I want to clarify a point in your question: do you mean "experiment" or "simulation" ?
If you want to share values from one simulation to another one in 1 experiment, you can use a variable defined inside the experiment to store the value to exchange between them.
I think you can find some examples in the folder "Model exploration".

If you want to make several experiments to exchanges information, the point is that you cannot have in GAMA 2 experiments working in the same time.
So you will need that one experiment save data in a file, in order that, when launched, the next experiment can get the information.

Hope it helps.

Cheers

Benoit

Hi Benoit,

Yes Sorry, I meant simulation. It goes inside an experiment, so I loosely used them interchangeably. :)

Thank you, I will look into the model you suggested.
