Hi I'm currently learning GAMA to simulate traffic. I came across this page with an interesting feature, i.e. lanes. I suppose that when there are multiple lanes, vehicles can surpass each other whereas if there is 1 lane, they cant surpass/overtake and must follow each other. However, when I run the simulation, on the road where there is only 1 lane, some vehicles surpass each other, and some vehicles are just stuck behind each other (working as intended). Can you clarify this a bit for me?

Hi,

You are right, there an issue here (I added it to the issue list). Note that if you plan to develop a traffic simulation, you should use the advanced_driving skill (Road Traffic Advanced): it is far more powerful and robust than the driving skill.

Cheers,

Patrick
