[Edit Max Num. Threads Directly in Config Files - Headless Run]

Hi everyone,
I'm using GAMA Headless inside a container to run simulations on a university server.
I'd like to know how to set the "Max. Number of threads to use" parameter directly in a configuration file.

So far, I’ve only been able to change the number of threads through the "Preferences" interface, as shown in the example below.

I tried modifying the model itself, the preferences file, and so on, but none of these changes had any effect during the execution of my experiment.

Could anyone help me with this?

Hi,

Depending on you OS, preferences are in different file :

From here (https://gama-platform.org/wiki/Troubleshooting) we can read: 

There are two ways to circumvent this problem: the first one is to increase the memory allocated to GAMA by the Java Virtual Machine. [...] To increase the memory allocated, first locate the file called Gama.ini. On Windows and Ubuntu, it is located next to the executable. On Mac OS X, you have to right-click on Gama.app, choose "Display Package Contents...", and you will find Gama.ini in Contents/Eclipse. This file typically looks like the following (some options/keywords may vary depending on the system), and we are interested in two JVM arguments:
