Dear all,

I think it could be a great opportunity to present our work around GAMA, Compex Systems Modelling, Sustainability science, etc (I assume I won't be in Lyon at this period)

Maybe one of you would be interested to spend a few days in Lyon in the beginning of June? If yes, we could we think about a submission (deadline is 20 Fevrier 2026) 

What do you think? It is organized by a colleague of mine from IXXI, Remy Cazabet.

Bonjour à tous, 

nous avons le plaisir de vous informer que la Conférence Annuelle Française sur les Systèmes Complexes se tiendra à Lyon les 1er et 2 juin 2026. 

Cet événement inter-disciplinaire, organisé par la Société Française des Systèmes Complexes (CSS/FRANCE, chapitre français de la Complex Systems Society). Il est ouvert à toute personne, en France ou à l'étranger, intéressée par les avancées de la recherche sur les systèmes complexes. Celle-ci peut s'appliquer à de nombreux domaines, comme les systèmes sociaux et économiques, les réseaux sociaux et la propagation d'opinion, les réseaux neuronaux, ou encore au transport et à l'urbanisme... (liste non exhaustive !)

Parmi les conférenciers invités, Olivier HAMANT (INRAé) et Matthieu LATAPY (Sorbonne Université) ont déjà confirmé leur venue.

L'appel à contributions est ouvert jusqu'au 20 février 2026.

Des résumés d'une page sont attendus; les contributions de doctorants sont encouragées.

The 2026 national conference on Complex Systems will take place in Lyon on June 1-2, 2026. 

This inter-disciplinary event is organised by the French Complex Systems Society (the local chapter of the international Complex Systems Society). It is open to all people (whether in France or abroad) interested in hearing about the latest advances in the research on complex systems, in their multiple disciplinary facets: social and economic systems, social networks and opinion propagation, natural neural networks, transport and urban studies, etc.

Among the invited speakers,  Olivier HAMANT (INRAé) et Matthieu LATAPY (Sorbonne Université) have already confirmed their presence.

The Call for Contributions is now open, with a submission deadline on February 20, 2026.

One-page abstracts are expected, and contributions from PhD students are encouraged.
