Hi all,

We are VERY excited about the response that we have had for GC Ball 2013!

It's time to kick start phase two so we will be selling tickets for the ball on the night of the cheque presentation, Friday 30th August 8:30pm in Bradys Maynooth!!! There will be a limited number of student tickets available at a discounted price of €40 for those with a valid MAYNOOTH STUDENT ID CARD (ONE ticket per student card).

Those of you who are unable to attend the cheque presentation, don't panic....we will be selling tickets in various ways from the beginning of September.

Looking forward to seeing you all very soon!! :)

GC Ball 2013 Committee.

Renault Into the West Cycle Challenge 2013

The ever popular "Into the West Cycle" in aid of Breast Cancer Research is on the 7th and 8th of September. This cycle from Mullingar to Galway on Saturday, and back the next day Sunday, is the ideal way to round off the season with a fun weekend in Galway. Entry fee is €60 and participants must then raise a minimum sponsorship of €200 for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute. Sponsorship cards and books of tickets for a draw (prize is a Holiday for 2 in Florida )are available to help raise the sponsorship money which you hand in at registration.

Because of demand for places and limited hotel accommodation we may have to close off entry early this year. If you have not already sent in your entry it is advisable to do so without delay. See www.nbcri.ie  for online entry at https://eventmaster.ie/event.php?event_id=337  or a manual entry form is available from Joe Duffy. If you need a hard copy of the entry form, sponsorship cards or holiday draw tickets please conta...@nbcri.ie .  The first 150 entrants will receive our attractive cycling jersey.

An additional choice for cyclist this year will be the " 50/50 Option ", where you cycle the first leg to Athlone and are transported to Croughwell to complete the last leg into Galway, and do the same on the return journey. This is ideal for people are new to cycling or might not have the required milage done so spread the word to anyone you think might like the 50/50 challenge.          Will you take up the challenge for a good cause with a great weekend of cycling and craic included.?

Regards

Joe Duffy

And of course, our final cheque presentation takes place on Friday August 30th at 8.30pm in Brady's Maynooth.

All the best,

Emma.
