Hello everyone,

We have had a massive interest in the cycle this year and are very close to hitting our target number. Our target number is the largest amount of cyclists that we can bring.

For this reason, REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE NEXT FRIDAY - 25th of January, OR BEFOREHAND IF WE HIT OUR TARGET. If you have not registered, please do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

1. Our open meeting will take place on Tuesday 29th January at 7.30 pm in JH1 - John Hume Building on the North Campus (Compulsory Attendance).
  • This meeting will cover everything you need to know for the weekend.
  • It is your last chance to pay your deposit and also to pick up your sponsorship cards if you do not have them already. If you have asked for your card to be posted to you but you can pick it up at the open meeting instead, please let us know. You can contact pres...@galwaycycle.ie or vicepr...@galwaycycle.ie.
  • You will also have an opportunity to organise your room-mates. However, we may not be able to accommodate everyone, but this weekend is all about making new friends!
  • We will also have a 30 minute bike maintenance session before the meeting - it will go through simple bike maintenance such as changing a tyre and how to fix your brakes.

2. Remaining deposits must be paid by the 29th.
  • If you have not paid your deposit by the 29th of January, you will no longer be registered for the cycle.
  • You can pay at the open meeting, at training cycles, using the donate feature on the website (please email regist...@galwaycycle.ie if you use this option so that we can confirm that it was you) or by re-registering and using the pay now option. You can also give your deposit to any committee member.
3. For those of you who require accommodation in Galway (you would have stated this on your registration form), please let us know if this changes, and you no longer require it, as soon as you can.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon,

Emma.
