Friday night practice

I just wanted to add my comments concerning the Friday night practice. I have to admit that I tried practicing with the video and was less than successful. However, I went to last Friday's practice, and by the time we had gone through the repetitions about three times, I got it. I think working with the group was incredibly helpful. The steps look a bit intimidating when performed by the youthful dancers, but the group practice session showed me that I could do it, too. So, to all those folks who are hesitating to really get involved, come Friday. It will change you mind.

I second Barbara's opinion. I hadn't really practiced at all to the video. I went to the practice Fri. night a total beginner and left feeling like I could really do this....and it was fun!! Even if you can just come for a portion of the class, you will glad you did.

In person and twenty minutes was the way to go for me also....I found that the video instructors began off beat with the music and it was difficult to find the pace...so much better in person!
