PRACTICE SESSION INFORMATION +

Good afternoon, "Mobsters":

Detailed information about the group practice sessions can be found at

Basically, practice opportunities are being made available every
Friday night, 6-8 pm, at McGuire Dent Recreation Center, 2222 28th
Street (@ Seawall), Galveston, until "show time" on Sunday, 9/12. We
are also working with Galveston Parks & Rec to establish an additional
special practice session on Saturday, September 11. Details will be
confirmed on Monday, 8/30.

These practice sessions are designed to provide participants with a
fun, easy way to learn the dance steps and sequence from our dance
leaders and choreographers. The dance is very 'granny friendly" and
takes only about 1 hour to learn it all and practice several times
with the music. Come to as few or as many as you like.

In the meantime, everyone should take some time to please review the
Pages section of this Google Group site. http://groups.google.com/group/galveston-flashmob912.
This section will provide you with answers to many of your questions.

As a reminder, if you are recruiting participants, please encourage
them to be sure to Join This Group (there is a Join This Group link on
the far right side of the Home/Welcome page). It's NOT too late to
join!

But know that just visiting the Google Group site does NOT add contact
information to the database. They MUST join! If someone is NOT in
the database they will not receive important informational updates or,
more importantly, a link to the video that will be produced of the
actual performance. (Obviously, if you are receiving this
