Cool Friday practice session and more ...

I have confirmed that McGuire Dent Recreation Center, 2222 28th Street-
Galveston, has completed repairs to the air-conditioning system and
has reopened! :)

As scheduled, another practice session will be held this week on
Friday, August 20, at McGuire Dent Rec Center from 6-8 p.m.

As a reminder, all practices are, of course, voluntary and have been
designed simply to provide interested participants with an opportunity
to review the dance steps in a group setting with one of our dance
leaders/choreographers. At least one member of the Planning Committee
will also be present to answer any questions you may have.

If you are not able to attend one of the practice sessions (it really
takes only about 1 hour to master the 5 easy steps and dance
sequence), I sincerely hope you will let me know about any personal/
small group practice sessions you may have scheduled. We would really
like to get some more video footage of these sessions, if possible.
