I thought the original question by @abol3z was about the zigbee binding. I see the tags have now changed to indicate that this is about zigbee2mqtt binding, but I think that is only because @smarthomepch responded about zigbee2mqtt.
1) I want to connect something to the PC, so that the device can transmit a signal, which is triggered when a specific action occurs in labview
(through a USB Zigbee adapter)
2) This signal is then recieved by a person within 30m that wears a digital watch ( which has a manually inserted zigbee chip with an integrated antena)
3) Upon receiving the signal, the watch will turn on say an LED.
Can anyone with networking knowledge guide me here. I think the XBee 802.15.4 is automatically programmed and will work, but I dont know if labview is able to send a logic 1 signal, wireless through zigbee, to turn on an led in the watch.
The basic idea I have is that the microcontroller will read the state of the zigbee module. When it finds thatthe two zigbees are communicating - i will simply require to turn on an indicator like an LED or a buzzer for instance.
Multiple servers VS 1 server and multiple zaps.
Over the years this has changed a lot.
Current recommendation is to setup multiple Zservers, idea being as many devices as possible directly communicating with the Zserver, and fewest hops.
Only practical reason for single mesh is portable zigbee devices that need to work through out a large project with multiple zaps, ie remotes taken from room to room.
(the other case may be lighting popcorn, where very large lighting scenes may not trigger at the same time over different Zservers)
I too have a problem specifically interacting with the zigbee connected devices. My google home is not at all recognizing the zigbee connected devices. Lot of my sensors are of zigbee based and are connected to (Tuya based) zigbee gateway device. The problem is those devices are not recognized from the google home app. I can only interact/ control the wifi based IOT devices such as that are directly connected to Internet. Give me any solution. I heard your rival Alexa has the support for 3rd party zigbee devices but the great google doesnt support!!!!!!! I was completely disappointed and regretting for choosing the google instead of alexa echo
For example, I got to Routine-> Add starter-> When a device does something-> I expect my zigbee temperature sensor to be listed but its not listing anything... Because of that, I cant make use of google home.. such a waste of money
