Registration open for GREAT3 Mid-challenge Meeting

(With apologies for the spam, but thought some on the list might be interested about this GREAT3 Challenge meeting - GREAT3 is the project for which GalSim was initially conceived, designed and developed!)

We are delighted to announce that Registration for the GREAT3 Mid-challenge Workshop is now open: http://www.great3challenge.info/?q=midchallengeworkshop

The Workshop will take place on the 6 & 7 January 2014, and we are being kindly hosted at the Institute for Astronomy, University of Edinburgh, UK. The registration deadline is Monday 16 December 2013.

The meeting will include a description of the GREAT3 challenge, guides to the simulated data, and information on how to participate. There will also be talks and discussion on cutting edge topics in weak gravitational lensing inference. Please do forward this information on to anyone who might be interested in attending the meeting, and we hope to see you there!
