I wanted to say thank you to those who joined this googlegroups and all of us made a big difference for Gallaudet University. Those who actually involved and support the protest did a great job to make sure board of trustee is in our favor.
Beginning of the protest, I was willing to set up this googlegroup and manage it. It's not a easy task for me because I would have to attend to all of the meeting and myself involved in the HMB lockdown too. I get all the information on whenever there will be rally, whenever there will be plans by myself and some help from the leaders. The group had like 200-300 members at the beginning of the protest.
Then things changed last week. The googlegroups has expanded to 600-700 members and now more people are aware of the protest and more people got involved.
Right now, we have 770 people on the googlegroups and it's effective enough to say that we have huge number of people who support the protest.
And special thanks to Brian Riley because he let me post on his saveourdeafschools googlegroup which have 500 more members on it.
I used my pager to send out all the info on the googlegroups but for a week, my pager doesn't work so I had to run to the nearest computer to check my e-mail on tmobile website and as well to forward information to googlegroups but all of those work does really worth it for Gallaudet!
