I installed the latest Gallio / Mbunit 3 ( Gallio v3.1 Update 2 build
397 - x86 ) after my install when I open my solution which includes a
test project I can not expand the test project anymore and right click
is disabled in VS2008. VS2005 is not affected.

Any info / insight would be most helpful.

I somehow managed to get the trace below from VS2008,

Warning 3 The element 'PropertyGroup' in namespace 'http://
schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003' has invalid child
element 'CustomBeforeMicrosoftCommonTargets' in namespace 'http://
schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003'. List of possible
elements expected: 'Property' in namespace 'http://
schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003'. C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET
\Framework\v3.5\Microsoft.Common.targets 22 10 Miscellaneous Files

It sounds like your VS 2008 project file might be corrupted, but I'm not
sure. The warnings could be a red herring.

When you load the project, does Visual Studio give you any errors?

If you don't need the Gallio VSTS integration, you could perform a "Custom"
installation of Gallio and disable the Test Runners -> Visual Studio
Integration component.

That was a red herring, it turned out the test template had gotten
corrupt. I was not able to create test projects from file menu
anymore. Did Visual Studio repair / install and all is good again.

Thx,
