The Image library requires GD2

Hi,

Am getting around to getting my gallery back on line after a bunch updates resulted in issues.  Back up and running but....

When I add photos to a gallery, at least one will fail and none will get previews made.

In the gallery logs I came across this.

Task Rebuild Images started (task id 124)

Unable to rebuild images for '2024 07 20-IMG 2734-web'

Kohana_Exception: The Image library requires GD2. Please see http://php.net/gd_info for more information. in Q:\web\site\gallery3\system\libraries\drivers\Image\GD.php:23

Any ideas on what o do with this?

You need a graphics tool, which is either GD or Imagick.  The former is usually included with PHP.

You'll need to ask your hosting provider to enable GD for your account.

Figured it out.  In php.ini the extension=gd line was commented out.  Thanks for the reply
