new manual install of Gallery 3.1.5 - something went wrong

i've manually installed over 20 now with no real issues until this one - i checked the Int and var permissions and HTaccess  - i'm missing something or skipped something ? 
the other installs are on the same server with no issues & currently working

You should be able to provide more detailed error messages if you can login as admin. If that is not possible and you have cPanel/File Manager access, have a look at the error messages in the log files in folder var/logs

not sure what happened - i tried to manually install like i always do and it failed with above error - i deleted and tried the GoDaddy installer - the GoDaddy installer kept giving error so deleted folder & retried manual install  & it went straight thru like normal on first try - steps i followed

created database - created folder in file directory - unpacked gallery in folder - changed permissions on var, htaccess and php.int - went to link and linked database and went straight thru 

only thing i didn't do last time was create the sub-domain thru the cpanel system - i used the one already linked from the first attempt
