Dear friends
as per NPCIL clarification on LTC for fresh recruits:- (scanned copy enclosed)
6. there may be cases where the 8th year falls in
the first year of block. In such cases there is no objection to permit them to
draw the normal LTC during that block in addition to the 8th year
LTC applicable for fresh entrants.
7. The basic rule that LTC facilities wil be available only
after completion of one year of service has not been relaxed for fresh
entrants, accordingly they will be eligible for LTC only on completion of one
year. However during the second year of service there is no ojection to grant
them two LTCs, one against first year of service and the second against second
year of service. This des not amount to grace period.
As per this norms, those who have joined on 2003 are eligible for above point 6.
but BARC establishment interprets it differently. as per them, those who
have joined in 2003, completes their 8 years service in 2011 (i.e. one year probation period plus 8 year service)
also as per them above rule 6. is not valid.
plz comment/suggest if u have already dealt with above issue or if you have any updates on above issue.
