Read below for a great local success story!

From: Costakis, Catherine [mailto:cost...@montana.edu]

Hello All,

I just wanted you all to be aware of a report that came out today highlighting the great partnership that has taken place in the City of Bozeman for Safe Routes to School (SRTS).  Thanks to all of you we have some great information now to lead our efforts in this area.  I think this Assessment Project that was conducted by Alta Planning + Design will make the city and the SRTS Task Force much more competitive in our applications for federal SRTS dollars in the future.  It is great to see our efforts in this area getting national recognition.  We were one of only four communities in the US selected to be included in this report.

See the Safe Routes to School National Partnership website for this newly released report.  http://www.saferoutespartnership.org/home Scroll to the middle of the page and click on the report titled:

SRTS Programs Are Serving As A Catalyst for Building Partnerships and Leveraging Resources

Please pass this along to anyone you think may be interested.  Thanks everyone!

Cathy
