Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Brazier, age 86, of Toney, AL, who passed away Thursday, September 01, 2009 at her residence, will be conducted Thursday, September 03, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Steve Hale and Rev. Buddy Alverson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL. Mrs. Brazier was a native of Madison Co., AL, the daughter of the late Henry & Lillie York Baltimore. She was a school teacher for the Madison County Board of Education and a member of the Plainview Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son: Jerry Boyett and 4 grandchildren. Survivors include her husband: James Brazier of Toney, AL; 6 daughters: Charlotte Lindsey of Oden Ridge, AL, Iva Jones of Hazel Green, AL, Brenda Meeks of Cullman, AL, Libby & Bill Smith of Flintville, TN, Sharon East of Huntsville, AL, Cathy Boyett of Toney, AL; 1 son: Milton Boyett of Fayetteville, TN; 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, AL. Mr. Woods was a native of Limestone Co., AL, the son of the late Shields Edward & Willie Ruth Lee Woods. He was a construction superintendent. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Tonya Woods & 4 brothers: Buddy, Bobby, Bill & Dwight Woods. Survivors include his wife: Carol Woods; daughters: Stepheny Gregory, Brandie Garner & Brittany Woods all of Toney, AL; sons: Tonis Woods of Huntsville, AL & Shields Woods of Toney, AL; grandchildren: Angelena, Victoria, Paisley, Erik, Braden, Joshua, Hayden & Owen; sisters: Betty Kitten of Boulevard, CA, Kaye Martinez, Terri Counts both of Kingsford Heights, Indiana and brother: Allen Woods of Kingsford Heights, Indiana. It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Shirley Neece, age 72, of Dellrose, TN, who passed away Sunday, September 06, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Winchester, TN. Mrs. Neece was a native of Blacksville, WV, the daughter of the late George & Bonnie Mae Cummins Park. She was of the Methodist faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ollie J. Neece, Jr. She is survived by her daughter: Robin Nolan and sons: Barry & Daryl Fox. There is no memorial service planned at this time. Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Church and a former cashier at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro. Mrs. Guiles was a native of California, the daughter of the late Henry Utter and the late Dorothy Mae Wanger Gaskill. She was a waitress and a member of the Stateline Seventh Day Adventist Church. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband: Richard N. Guiles and son: Robert James (Jimmy) Stevens. He was a graphic engineer, a member of the Flintville First Baptist Church and a World War II Navy veteran. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years: Jettye Lee Good McGehee, 3 brothers: Paul, Fred & Bill McGehee and 1 sister: Annette Wilkins.
