Mr. Charles Brady

February 16, 1940  -  January 02, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mr. Chuck Brady, age 69, of Tullahoma, TN, who passed away Friday, January 01, 2010 at the Harton Regional Medical Center, will be conducted Monday, January 04, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. James Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brady was a native of Dayton, TN, the son of the late Luther Newton & Daisy Gladys Nixon Brady. He was a truck driver for the City of Tullahoma and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ on East Moore Street in Tullahoma. Along with his parents, Mr. Brady was preceded in death by a sister:  Laverne Gentry. Survivors include his wife: Cara Sue Brady; daughter:  Brenda Sue Brady; sons:  Mark Brady & wife: Alice, Ray Brady all of Tullahoma, TN; grandchildren:  Jake, Dustin, Marcus, Luke, Elizabeth, Dalton; great grandchildren:  David, Grace; sisters:  Peggy Higgins of McMinnville, TN, Shelby Stinnett, Jo West both of Dayton, TN and brothers:  Tommy Brady of Dayton, TN, Kenny Brady of Evansville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 04, 2009 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Vera Mardale Brannon

June 27, 1951  -  January 03, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mrs. Mardale Brannon, age 58, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Sunday, January 03, 2010, at her residence, will be conducted Wednesday, January 06, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Mrs. Brannon was a native of Madison Co., AL, the daughter of the late Dick & Maggie Buchanan Ward. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elora Church of Jesus. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister:  Rosie Woods and 2 brothers:  Loyd & Roy Ward. Survivors include her husband:  Ronnie Brannon of Kelso, TN; sons:  David Owens & wife: Elizabeth of Kelso, TN, Lance Owens & wife: Teresa of Elora, TN, Jackie Owens & wife: Kim of Kelso, TN; 11 grandchildren: Johnathon, Austin, Jessica, Brittany, Jeremiah, Josh, Matt, Jonah, Courtney Owens, Dawn Wilbourn & Jacob Vandiver; 3 great grandchildren:  Hailynn, Payton Owens & Aubrey Cook; sisters: Barbara Scott, Mae Gifford, Anita Barry and a brother:  Charles Ward. Mrs. Evelyn West

July 06, 1914  -  January 04, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn West, age 95, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Monday, January 04, 2010 at the Lincoln Care Center, will be conducted Wednesday, January 06, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Young officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN. Mrs. West was a native of Giles Co., TN, the daughter of the late Aubrey Monroe & Gracie Mae Holley King. She was an inspector for Genesco and a member of the Highland United Methodist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Roy West. Survivors include her sister:  Annie King Hereford of Fayetteville, TN; nieces:  Sandra Marknoff of Nashville, TN, Linda Sandridge of Rossville, GA; nephews: David Hereford of Pelham, AL, and Wayne King of Pulaski, TN. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Emily Payne

August 11, 1937  -  January 05, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Payne, age 72, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, January 05, 2010 at Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Butch Ward & Judy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Brighton Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. Mrs. Payne was a native of Calera, AL, the daughter of the late Willie Thomas & Geneva Gertrude Sewell Splawn. She was a nursing assistant and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her son:  Frank Lee Payne, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; granddaughter:  Tabatha Kristi Payne of Chapel Hill, TN and sister:  Betty Brasher of Bessemer, AL. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.

                 Funeral services for Mrs. Jennifer Gaines, age 34, of Petersburg, TN, who passed away Wednesday, January 06, 2010, at her residence, will be conducted Saturday, January 09, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Ray King officiating. Burial will follow in Melson Cemetery. Mrs. Gaines was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, the daughter of Jimmy & Mary Jane McKinney of Shelbyville, TN. She was a housewife and a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband:  Greg Gaines of Petersburg, TN; daughter:  Cheyenne Brooklyn Gaines of Petersburg, TN; son:  Tyler McKinney Dixson of Petersburg, TN; step-son:  Christopher Neal Gaines of Decherd, TN and sister:  Jamey Wheat & husband: Jeff of Petersburg, TN.                  Funeral services for Sammy ‘Papa Sam’ Dollar, age 72, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, January 06, 2010 at the Donalson Care Center, will be conducted Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Moore & Bro. Gary Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Mr. Dollar was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, the son of the late Duncan & Lula Frances Coleman Dollar. He was a heavy equipment operator for Fayetteville Water and Sewer System. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Josephine Dollar; daughter:  Angela Dickson; sisters:  Dolly, Kathleen, Lorene, Ann, an infant sister; brothers:  Jake, Douglas, Junior; half brothers: Clifford, Jim, & Cleveland. Survivors include daughters:  Jennifer Rodgers of Lewisburg, TN; Carol Lowe of Lebanon, TN; sons:  Danny Dollar of Nashville, TN, Donnie Dollar of Fayetteville, TN, Ricky Dollar of Mt.                  Funeral services for Mr. Fawan Jerome Knott, age 34, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, January 09, 2010 at the Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Elder Ronald Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Brown’s Temple Cemetery. Mr. Knott was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, the son of Dorothy A. Wells of Huntsville, AL and the late Fred Knott. He was a 1994 graduate of Lincoln County High School and was a cook. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather:  Charles McLain; maternal grandparents: Walter B. & Willine Wells and an uncle: John Willie Wells.                  Funeral services for Mrs. Ovie Stafford, age 92, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Ardmore on Main Care and Rehabilitation Center, will be conducted Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Wimberly officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery. Mrs. Stafford was a native of Madison Co., AL, the daughter of the late David & Anna Pearl Stewart Rozell. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Stafford; brothers: Edgar, Ira, Leamon & David Rozell and sister:  Etolia Smith. Mrs. Stafford will always be remembered for her hearty laugh, warm welcome and the wonderful meals she prepared. Survivors include 1 sister:  Louise Dugan & husband: Elbert of Hazel Green, AL; sisters-in-law:  Evelyn Rozell of Hazel Green, AL, Ozella Rozell of Harvest, AL and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Roberta E. Patton

                 Funeral services for Mrs. Roberta E. Patton, age 73, of Arab, AL, who passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Marshall Medical Center North, will be conducted Monday, January 18, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Lois Cemetery. Mrs. Patton was a native of Knoxville, TN, the daughter of the late Hubert & Lillian Casper Fraker, a housewife and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband:  Curtis Patton of Arab, AL, daughter: Julie Veldhuis of Huntsville, AL; sons:  Larry Patton of Arab, AL, David Patton of Athens, AL; grandchildren: Benjamin, Melissa, Heather; great grandchildren: Nathan, Brooklyn, Cate, Sam, Evan, Claire; sister:  Juanita Arp of Knoxville, TN and brother:  Harold Fraker of Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Debra Brown King

August 15, 1955 - January 16, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Brown King, age 54, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the Lincoln Medical Center will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery in Marshall County, TN. She was a native of Marshall County, TN, the daughter of the late Estel Grady Brown and Olivene Hammonds Brown who survives. She worked as a Produce Department employee and was a member of the Hope Assembly of God. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Herbert King of Fayetteville, TN; 3 daughters: Tina Marie Sargent of Wilmington, MA, Christina Renee Flora of Broken Arrow, OK, and Wanda Jean King of Mulden, MA; a son: Herbert King, Jr. of Summerville, MA; a sister: Wanda Scott of Fayetteville, TN; a half-brother: James Brown of Shelbyville, TN; and 4 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 11 a.m. until time of service. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Funeral Home to help with expenses.

 

Mr. J.T. McDow

June 27, 1928  -  January 22, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mr. J.T. McDow, age 81, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Johnney Johnson officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Mr. McDow was a native of Leoma, TN, the son of the late W.R. & Mary Grissom McDow. He was an electrician and plumbing contractor and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Along with his parents, Mr. McDow was preceded by his first wife: Clara Odell Dempsey McDow; son: James Thomas McDow and 2 brothers:  Kenneth & Dayton ‘Peevy’ McDow. Survivors include his wife: Youell McDow of Fayetteville, TN; 5 daughters:  Gail Prince of LaVergne, TN, Janice Goolsby of Pulaski, TN, Sue Thompson of Lebanon, TN, Barbara Pendleton of Nashville, TN, Sharon Houser of Maryville, TN; 3 sons:  Donnie Ray McDow of Huntsville, AL, William Michael McDow of Smyrna, TN, Timothy Nathan McDow of Guam; 3 step-children: Frances Nadine Wilson of Hazel Green, AL, Youell Singleton of Harvest, AL, Cecil Morgan of Huntsville, AL; 4 sisters:  Ovetta Durham of Fayetteville, TN, Gail Rhodes of Maggie Valley, NC, Carol Bartholemew of Huntsville, AL, Faye Martin of Estill Springs, TN; 1 brother:  Jerry Wayne McDow of Flintville, TN; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren. Ricky Holman officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery. Mrs. Shannon was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, the daughter of the late Herschel & Mildred Phillips Houk. She was a bank manager and a member of the Plevna Holiness Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother:  Buster Houk.                  Funeral services for Mr. Gary Cole, age 72, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the Centennial Medical Center, will be conducted Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Mr. Cole was a native of Glassport, PA, the son of the late Ralph & Nettie Bush Cole. He worked for the Copperweld Corporation and was a Member of the First United Methodist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother:  Lyle Cole and a sister:  Betty Waugh. December 14, 1937  -  January 29, 2010

                 Funeral services for Mr. Charles Arnold, age 72, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in the Lincoln Medical Center will be conducted on Monday, February 01, 2010 in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Arnold was a native of Moore County, TN the son of the late Charlie & Ruthie Walker Arnold. He was an Engineer at Redstone Arsenal and of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister:  Neva Luttrell and brother: James Arnold. Survivors include his wife: Kay Arnold of Fayetteville, TN; 3 daughters: Tammy Lynn Louden, Roxanna Mitchell & Amanda Eskew all of Fayetteville, TN; a son:  Michael Newton of Fayetteville, TN; 6 grandchildren: Leslie & Kelsi Sisk, Jessica Scott, Candice Newton, and Dalton Eskew; sisters:  Sue Nell Sisk, Mary Tremble, Linda Lee, Peggy Arnold; brothers:  Wayne, Billy, Ray, Pat, & Bob Arnold.                 Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Smith, age 95, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Donalson Care Center will be conducted on Thursday, February 04, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery. She was a native of Lincoln County, TN, the daughter of the late Higgins & Beatrice Hopkins Towry. She was a seamstress and a member of the Kirkland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband: Isom Hosea Smith who passed away in 1979. Survivors include 2 sons: Roger Towry of Fayetteville, TN and Lynn Smith of South Carolina. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 04, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Kirkland Baptist Church.

 

Mr. Jeffery W. Graham

                 Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery W. Graham, age 47, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at his residence will be conducted on Monday, February 01, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright's Cemetery. Mr. Graham was a native of Charleston, SC, the son of the late Randall Ray Graham and Carolyn Stubblefield Graham who survives. He was a Plumber & Electrician and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister: Debra Jean Graham Arnold. Survivors in addition to his mother include: 2 brothers: Randy Graham & wife: Cindy of Petersburg, TN, and James Graham & wife: Christy of Lewisburg, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other family and friends. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening, January 31, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
