Hi Patricio,
The plugin is compatible with piwik 1.4. Gall has been in development but now is a standalone software (it not depends on piwik). The code is not available yet but We are planing to release a big update in August.
We are now using nodejs, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch. This stack let Gall scale much more easily.
You can sign up to the newsletter in gall.com.ve so we can let you know when the new Gall is available.
