Nice Write Up on Speaker Impedance

As you may have read in the www.galeaudio.com  website write up on the GS401 series (Legendary Amp Killer section),  the speaker features an impedance dip below 4 ohms under 27 Hz and between 3 kHz and 5kHz. 

 

Many amplifiers (including most from the 1970’s) can’t handle this load at high volume levels.
