John; I have had x3 come past me in the last 2 years i.e. in the workshop to play with 'but not own' at nowhere near the asking price of this so they do still crop up from time to time at slightly more sensible prices and the Ebay syndrome is always interfering with sensible prices. I must say that when you are 'in the presence of' they are wonderful to behold if turntables are what rocks your boat. I have had the opportunity to put two parties together to by and sell these but never felt the urge to blow my pension on one personally!

A bit of provenance / history would have been nice – especially at the price;  who, where, etc. (Maybe it is one of Mr Dwights?)

Awful lot of unknowns there.  EG:- Are the workings original (highly unlikely) or does it just spin?  Etc.

Might not bother the well-heeled of course.....

Crikey ... tempted to sell mine based on that price! 

I notice the seller doesn't know how to set them up, as evidenced by the top suspended acrylic plate not actually suspended! It's hard up against the three aluminium suspension tower tops!

I bought mine from Alan Coleman, ex-MD of DWLabs/Gale.

 

He had the acrylic nicely polished prior to shipment, which was very kind.

 

Brings a surprising amount of enjoyment.   Currently upgrading the control system so it’ll work another 30 years as have others.
