The inspiration for this is the book "Seven Languages in Seven
Weeks". There should be a few copies floating around the office, and
we'll probably buy some more. (Hint, hint, Duane.)

We're looking at doing a Randori during business hours, and seeking
management approval for it. Stay tuned on that score. We should have
an answer within the week.

We already have volunteers to learn each language well enough to run a
randori on the subject. (If anyone expects expertise, you'll be
disappointed, but we should be clued enough to jump-start others.)

If you want to help with a particular language, contact the person who
volunteered. If you already know that language and want to run it
yourself, please let him know!

Here are the volunteers:

Jerry Hoerig - Erlang
Erik Przekop - Clojure
Tim Taylor - Scala
Sajid Mohammed - Ruby
Jerry Hoerig - Haskell
Tim Taylor - Prolog
Erik Przekop - Io

Here is the new list. The only change is that Pete took two of the
languages (he's really geeked about this):

Jerry Hoerig - Erlang
Erik Przekop - Clojure
Tim Taylor - Scala
Sajid Mohammed - Ruby
Pete Murasky - Haskell
Tim Taylor - Prolog
Pete Murasky - Io
