Here's to the new year, may we get a solid release out the door and
may we get many volunteers to push this project forward.

Not to spoil the sentiment which I wholeheartedly agree with, but it
is actually 'hear hear', short for 'hear him, hear him', meaning 'hey,
I agree with this guy, let us listen to him a bit more!'.

Sorry, but these things bug me, and if you look on the bright side,
you just learned something new. ;)

Cheers and happy new year,
-Markus

I really like this project and i've gotten significantly better at 3d modeling, so i'll be putting alot of effort in making it look beautiful. If you guys need any 3d models just say the word

Word! We are (inactively) working on a 3d port. We will need models to test our engine.

kk, What size? What format? any reference images or concept art?

I'm not sure yet. A couple guys are working on concept stuff - should be in the google group somewhere.
I'm not yet ready to stick in models yet - just using sprites (not even have those yet)
But probably a normal unit should be 1x1x1 max dimensions, bound to the bottom.

I'm leaving for Israel in two weeks, so probably in February or so I can give you some more specific info. :)

Cheers all!

Any 3D model can be rendered as a sprite with a little care. The
opposite..? Not so easy. ;)

I wouldn't worry about dimensions since you can also easily scale a
model well after it has been made. Ratios of different parts of the
model is the important bit.

Cheers,
