The good thing is , allso the wavetable has been improved, now you can make more acurate vocoder
fx etc, and a lot more than that.
I wonder if Steinberg would make it possible to
import patches from Yamaha montage, that could be awsome, even fought Yamaha montage is a complety different beast.
does anyone know how many algorithms halion 7 have , 32, 48,88 ??.
I think Steinberg , is afraid of loosing costumers, i mean, if steinberg copied entire montage 8 onto
Halion , who would buy a Yamaha montage synth ??.
But then again, Roland does it the right way, i use to
have my subscription on roland cloud, but did cancel or, because i would rather have a life time key instead, pay once, which i allready lately with roland d50 vst plugin, now i own it forever, and never have to pay again.
Hello!I am new mainstage's user.I control mainstage with yamaha montage 6.I use my montage such controller keyboard and parallel audio device with yamaha steinberg driver.When i play with my keyboard and controling mainstage's instruments all good. i try to add external midi device and control it(i want use parallel mainstage's sounds combined with montage's and i can play simultaneously)When i write lsb msb and program number because i want when i change a patch on mainstage automaticaly my montage sound change automaticaly i have drop on connection montage and mainstage.When i press a key key on mainstage screen not move.I use midi port 1 channel 1 for control mainstage and external change program montage's patch.Is this wrong?Can i control montage as master controller with mainstage and parallel as audio genarator or not?

One important thing to note is that this keyboard has no built-in speakers. This is because most professionals will want to feed their sounds through their computer, or at least into really high-end external speakers. This adds to the cost of your setup.
The synthesizer itself runs off two powerful engines which can generate amazing sounds and textures. The AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory) which has 5 GB of sounds, and the FM-X (Pure Frequency Modulation Synthesis) Tone Generator with a combination of FM sounds and New Generation FM sounds which you can combine. Each engine has 128 polyphony.
