Speaking of collecting gems, completionists and/or perfectionists will notice that, upon completion of levels, the numbers of blue and red gems that were collected in the levels are shown. The number of blue gems vary depending on the level, but there are always three red gems that are the hardest to find. These gems can be used for different features of the game. The red gems can unlock challenge levels along the way, while the blue gems can be used to purchase enhanced skills for Tiny Thor to use. If desired, the levels can be repeated to obtain these gems.
Where do you even start with a game like Patrick's Parabox? Well, at its core, it's a simple block-pushing puzzler (think Sokoban) where the objective of each level is to push blocks so they fill various goal areas and once you do, you need to enter your goal which is often the tricky part. This might sound easy but there's a huge wrinkle: you can shrink into hollow blocks which can be mini-stages themselves and when you go inside a block that's inside another and so on and so on only to eventually push a block out to the main play area, your mind will become thoroughly blown. This formula allows for a staggering amount of variety and even after completing the campaign, you'll gladly go back to finish everything 100%. I've never played anything quite like it and it gets a wholehearted recommendation. ?

The main objects you will see scattered throughout your runs are sapphires and rubies. Your HUD will show you the number of sapphires and rubies to be found per level, with the latter usually being in the hundreds and much easier to find. The number of rubies per level is only three and are found in hard-to-get or secret locations; your hammer can also retrieve these sapphires and gems if they are in eyesight. At the end of each level, your run time will be shown, plus how many jewels you have acquired.
The bees. Oh dear god, the bees. There are tiny ones that attack in swarms. There are larger ones that hover in unpredictable patterns and fire back at you with deadly stings. Both threaten to kill you with a single touch, knock you off platforms, or in one nerve-shredding sequence, pursue you clear across a stretch of open countryside like an angry, buzzing cloud.
