Hi everyone.
It can be a stupid question but im new in this gps thing.
the problem is that i got gaia gps in my iphone 4s and i downloaded
the maps of my city, everything was fine there, but then i turned into
airplane mode which disconnects the phone from the data, and turned of
the wifi too. then i tapped the button to show my location and it was
fine, but then when i started moving in the bus, the arrow stay in the
same spot, it doesnt move.
so the question is: is it imposible to use gps tracking in offline
mode?

Airplane mode turns off GPS. You can independently turn wifi back on
but I think you can't turn GPS on in airplane mode.

Yeah, Steve is right.
Airplane Mode kills all your radios. If you want to conserve battery and still use the GPS, there are some things you can do.
