Problems with getting recorded tracks

I regularly record tracks on my iPhones (4 and 5) and transfer them to my computer via email. The transfer attempt I attach here didn't work; the file shows up as "noname", and it has no content. The tracks look fine on the phone, and the photos also show up and look fine, but I cannot seem to get the GPX file to copy. I find the track using timeline, and it shows up fine there. Is there a way to directly copy the tracks from my phone to the computer without using email?
