Location arrow turning in seemingly random direction

Hello,
Can you please explain Settings -> Compass -> Map Arrow -> Bearing/Compass? It looks like in Compass mode the arrow points in the direction the phone is pointing. And in the Bearing mode - I have no clue. It seems to point in some random directions.
Also, what happens when the crosshairs icon is blue or red color?

Hi Alex,
There is a bug right now, which we corrected for the next version, but have not released yet. When it's working, bearing should point in your direction of travel.
By the way, as a workaround for now, you can tap the crosshairs button twice to use track-up mode, which isn't bugged. This article will explain a bit more: http://help.gaiagps.com/knowledgebase/articles/175049-locate-and-follow-yourself-on-the-map
