view mbtiles on pc?

Does anyone know of a viewer that runs on windows that would allow me to view mbtiles maps like the ones we cache with gaiagps? I found this one

after installing it and launching a browser launches. However dropping maps onto it does nothing. I tried contacting the author but no response.
Viewing mbtiles seems like a logical/simple thing to do but maybe I'm missing something in my understanding of mbtiles.
