I don't see any option to rename a saved track. There is only a delete
    option in red.
Sorry, guess I was wrong! I thought you could rename a saved track but it looks like it only works when you click on 'New Track'. I must say that although I think I understand the new paradigm I'm not finding it very intuitive. You should be able to rename a saved track!

Further, I'm afraid that GaiaGPS is now unusably slow on my admittedly somewhat old (2 years) phone. It's ok if I leave it in tracking mode, but panning the map either just doesn't respond or 'flings' further than I want to move it, and the menus are frustratingly unresponsive too.

And even further, the old version was about 10% optimistic on distance travelled (compared to my Garmin GPS), but the new version is about 10x (really!) optimistic! I recently used both GPS's together on a 4 mile hike, and the GaiaGPS track was 35 miles long!! It looked right in Mapsource on the computer, but when I zoomed in the track was actually a zigzag around the same track recorded by my Garmin GPS unit. Maybe my phone's GPS just isn't very good. Although it works fine for navigation in the car.

Is it possible to go back to the previous version?

Hey Patrick,

Send an email to sup...@gaiagps.com and I can link you to the old version.

Were you using the latest version (5.0.4 or 5.0.5) when you got a weird recording? We fixed an issue with the GPS from 5.0.3 that might have caused that.

Also, what device do you have exactly?

Regards,
Andrew
