I just switched to the Android version after about four years as an IOS user. Some of my questions relate to both versions.

1. I often download .gpx tracks that I intend to follow on a hike. Very frequently these files are saved in Gaia as two items, a track and a collection of waypoints. The track is labeled simply "Track," and the collection of waypoints has the label of the .gpx file. Sometimes, however, I will download a file, and the track and waypoints are kept together, which is a much more logical and convenient way to do it. Is this just a function of the file I am downloading (if it matters, many of the offending files are taken from Trimble Outdoors)? Is there any way to insure that the track and waypoints are kept together? Once the track is imported into Gaia, is there any way to merge the track with the waypoint collection?

2. I can hide a track, but I can't hide the waypoints. My map now has hundreds, maybe thousands of waypoints showing, and I think it is beginning to slow down the app. Is there any way to hide these waypoints short of deleting them? Even a "track" consisting solely of waypoints (i.e., just a collection of pins, but no lines) does not disappear when the "hidden" button is pressed.

3. I just spend a lot of time cleaning up my tracks -- renaming them so that I can tell which track is associated with which waypoints, and eliminating duplicates. If I now sync this with Gaiacloud, will my changes get reflected, or will all my cleanup work be undone?

4. I liked the grid lines overlay feature of the IOS version, but I do not see this in the Android version. This is a good way to estimate distances. Does the feature exist in Android (if so, where is it), and if not, are there plans to add it?

5. The other way to judge distances is with the legend at the bottom left of the screen. However, on my screen, there is no line to go along with the statement of distance. In other words, I see the words "500 feet" on the map (or some other distance, depending on the zoom level), but there is no line to show how far 500 feet is. I think this is a bug.

6. It looks like new features are usually introduced first in the IOS version (e.g., distance chimes). How far behind is the Android version?

I've always been a big Gaia fan, so thanks for the great app!
