my location not working on Galaxy S4

Just downloaded Beta version on my Samsung Galaxy S4. When I press the location icon (croshairs over circle) the screen flashes "Show Location" but the map doesn't center on me nor does the icon turn blue as described in the manual. May just be a noob problem...any suggestions?
