Japan Fundraiser

Student Club Officers: Below is a message from a group of students
that have been working to fundraise to assist those in need in Japan.
Please consider participating in their request if you can.


In response to the disaster that has taken place in Japan and in
accordance with Park University's perspectives on maintaining global
awareness, a group of us students have decided to begin an on-campus
relief effort: the Japan to Park Network. We have spoken with the
Heart of America Japan America Society and intend to work with them as
well as the Japanese Red Cross to ensure that 100% money we collect
will go to helping the circumstances in Japan.

To begin our project, we are asking all Park University clubs as our
fellow campus organizations to help us get off to a substantial start
by making a suggested donation of $5.00 or $10.00 towards the seed
money for fundraisers. You can deposit the donation in the J.P.N
account # 90- -2803- by April 23rd.

It would be both a great honor and encouragement to have the support
of your club.
