Here at LISC, we're working with other partners to craft a competitive bid
proposal to submit to PG&E for a multifamily energy efficiency program for
2006-2008. In an attempt to not reinvent the wheel, we're looking to see if
our efforts are needed in the East Bay. Thus, we are wondering if any of
you are aware of the PG&E and local government partnership called the East
Bay Energy Partnership? If so, can you speak to whether or not you feel
this partnership meets (or will meet) the needs of the multifamily housing
market in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in 2006-2008? In other words, do
you feel that there is room for another program to add value to this area
and sector?
