Connection problems between all gaggle components

Hi all,

Just wanted to see if anyone else was having problems connecting between individual gaggle components and the boss. The Facciotti lab uses OSX and Marc and I both have v.10.8.4 on our computers. We are able to open and use cytoscape, dmv, etc. individually however, boss doesnt initialize automatically, nor detects other programs, nor broadcasts. Maybe a month ago we'd only had some trouble using firegoose, however in the past few weeks the problem seemed to expand to everything!!!....

Hi Andrew,

Unfortunately, the latest Java update broke many existing applications. Please go to here to download Firegoose:

http://gaggle.systemsbiology.net/docs/geese/firegoose/install/

And start the Boss from here:

http://gaggle.systemsbiology.net/2007-04/boss.jnlp

And please refer to the following post and install the fixes on MAC.

Andrew,

I remember having issues with firegoose at some point, but I'm not sure
it was an individual component issue.
