Firegoose fails to connect

Firegoose users,

I had a report of Firegoose failing to connect to Gaggle after a
recent update of Firefox on Windows. I'm not sure exactly what
versions are affected. I saw the problem with Firefox 3.5.9 and Java
plugin 6.0.17. Installing the latest Firefox (3.6.6) and the latest
Java plugin (6.0.20) seemed to fix the problem. I tested this
combination on both Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.6.4.
