Hi, I'm using Gaffer on windows on an RTX 2070 and latest drivers, everything seems to work well but I have a couple of questions:
Is there a way to make sure I'm rendering with cycles using the GPU?, I use the preset for OPTIX and CUDA only and SVM for the shading system, and on both it is the CPU the one that seems to be taxed, is there a way to see which devices are availible like in blender?, is there some option I'm not activating maybe?
This GPU problem seems to be echoed by the denoiser, since the denoising type only shows "invalid" and when activated it seems to be using the openimagedenoise.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you.

Right now Cycles will only use the GPU (on Windows and Linux) while we get it nice and stable. We definitely plan to add GPU rendering, and also the ability to use your own Cycles builds, similar to how we allow different Arnold builds.

This thread has a bit more information in it, as well as a caution against using SVM mode which is causing Gaffer to hang in some cases :  gaffer windows - cycles gpu crashes (google.com)
