gaesessions with Django auth

Has anyone tried to use gaesessions with Django auth? I keep running into assumptions/requirements of auth on session that result in calls to unimplemented methods (of course). Is this just not going to work well without implementing a bunch of the Django base session object?

Thoughts appreciated.

Hopefully this doesn't come as a sort of repost, I tried posting a similar question a little while ago but it didn't go through.

Sort of answering my own question ... what I wound up doing was decorating the gaesessions Session object with an additional piece of Django middleware. It needed:

set_test_cookie
test_test_cookie
delete_test_cookie
cycle_key
flush
