Good Evening,

I was happy that so many of you turned yesterday and look forward to
seeing all of you again next Saturday, 23 October at 4 pm.

I would like thank all those of you who shared your questions with the
group. If I was not able to answer the questions to your satisfaction,
please feel to ask me again and, if needed, I shall ask the Lamas to
get better answers for you.

4 points to note:

1. I shall try to write at least 1 email a week on a topic related to
the discussions on Saturday. Please feel free to post your comments,
suggestions or thoughts as you feel comfortable.

2. I was happy that some of you already tried the breathing practice
we discussed. Please do not try too hard, too much or too fast. Come
share your experience next Saturday and we shall all learn and grow
from it.

3. Some of you asked me how to set your motivation at the beginning of
the day and dedications at the end of the day. I shall share with you
some simple steps on how to do this easily every time, every day for
all your activities - be it jogging, cooking, scolding your child,
working or even sleeping! ;-)

4. I saw, and was also told of, how many of you volunteered with the
clearing up of the centre after the lessons and puja yesterday as well
as earlier today, after Rinpoche's long life puja. I am very
heartened that you are putting the Dharma into practise right away - a
Bodhisattva way of life! That's how simple Dharma is. I rejoice in
all your actions! :-D

I have used some key Buddhist words - MOTIVATION, DEDICATION,
BODHISATTVA, REJOICE. Please think about these words and what they
mean to you. We shall share with you how these simple words that can
be part of every single activity in our life. These are some of the
most important Dharma concepts that shall lead us to enlightenment.

Remember, Dharma is not always that complex, a little awareness and a
little effort keeps us on the express path to enlightenment, for the
sake of all sentient beings, always!

Once again, for the shy ones out there, please feel free to email me
directly at lotus...@gmail.com.

Sarva Mangalam!

Hi Palani

Thank you so very much for your time & yes, it's a very light and fun discussion session & at the same time, we learn. It's been very beneficial for us who are beginners to get ourselves right before we can go and serve for at least, we don't confuse others with what we think we know.  I know you are a busy man and I truly appreciate you making time for us. Last but not least, a big thank you to the centre for providing us such a condusive enviroment for our spiritual practise. Clap Clap Clap.

See you soon !

Have A Blessed Day

Regards
May Siow
