I wasn't flying that high, max. 39,000 feet, and only propping up bars
in airports and other sea level places.
Chagrin: at one airport, there was a sign: "We ID everyone," but the
"barista" didn't ask for mine. (No, I wasn't ordering an espresso.
Found the expression in a couple of newspaper articles that used the
word in the more general/Italian meaning of the word.)
Yesterday, I discovered that expedia was nice enough to come back and
tell me that some US airlines are now charging for all checked
baggage, but I had already discovered that the hard way.
