Error creating bean with name 'elixirBeaconController'

Dear All,

I'm currently trying to install the current elixir, java-based, implementation of a beacon on a centos 6 server. I'm following the instructions as provided in github at https://github.com/ga4gh-beacon/beacon-elixir . I've checked and all the dependencies are in place (Java8, maven, apache and so on), plus I have created a database (mysql non postgres, but that should not matter). I can go through all the process smoothly and in the end I manage to compile the "final" jar elixir-beacon-0.3.jar ... Anyway when I try to run it I get a stack of errors like the one below:

Field error in object 'querySamples' on field 'position2': rejected value [null]; codes [NotNull.querySamples.position2,NotNull.position2,NotNull.java.lang.Integer,NotNull]; arguments [org.springframework.context.support.DefaultMessageSourceResolvable: codes [querySamples.position2,position2]; arguments []; default message [position2]]; default message [may not be null] (see attached file for the complete error log)

While it seems intuitive that the thing is complaining about uninitialized stuff, java is not exactly my thing and maven is like ancient greek for me, so did any of you experience this error before? Am I doing something wrong?

As I said I check and I am pretty sure that I should have all the required dependencies.

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Sabela helped me to solve my problems. Now I have a beacon that works just fine.
