Dear Craig,

I want to thank you for your incredible support of Voto Latino! Now I can use a little more help - Voto Latino is seeking an Executive Director to help build VL 3.0- I would remain as President. I would be grateful if folks could share this with their networks. 

As you know, we hit a major reset after 2016 and went from a $6m cycle budget to $34m this past cylce with real results. With your support, we registered a record 612,000 voters this election through an aggressive digital strategy - we became the stop-gap for many on the ground efforts after they stopped in March due to the pandemic. We entered the pandemic with 88k registered. 44% of those registered voters didn't appear in voter files, 71% registered were young voters where 7 to 10 went for Biden compared to 6 to 10 for older Latinx voters. We focused our program in 8 states: AZ, NV, WI, CO, GA, NC, FL, TX, & PA where new voters helped deliver the margins - see chart. We targeted 3.7m low propensity voters. Roughly 40% of those we targeted had sat in out in 2016. Overall, we witnessed a 30% increase in Latino voters this cycle than last.  We employed an inoculation strategy against disinformation training 300 volunteers to identify it and then combating it by sharing the right information with 267 surrogates with online followers running from 3k to 62m. By deploying this two-pronged strategy, Voto Latino helped flip AZ, GA, hold on to NV & WI, sent 4 senators to DC and turned 2 TX and NC purple.  The Analyst Institute recognized the digital voter registration program with an Expy Award  for advancing the field of voter registration and PR Weekly Nominated our Influencer Work for the Best in 2020. 

We are now gearing up for the mid-terms and the organization is looking for a strategic mind, who loves to manage, understands budgets, is passionate about voter registration and ties to the states and congress would be ideal. 

Deep thanks to this listserve for the collective work!  Still can't believe we did it. For those with young children, who too weren't sure if we'd beat Trump either, I promised my daughter a puppy if Biden won. A promise I had promptly forgotten - she started collecting on that promise last night.
