Subject: [OSforGood] Open roles at DHIS2
To: Open Source for Good <
osfo...@github.com>
Hi Everyone,
DHIS2 is a free and open source global public good, the largest health information system in the world. It is used at the national level in
more than 70 mostly low- and middle-income countries. DHIS2 is a general-purpose data collection and analytics platform used to manage routine health service delivery as well as interventions targeting COVID-19, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, vaccination, maternal and child health, and more.
DHIS2 is developed by the Health Information Systems Program (HISP) at the University of Oslo (UiO) in Norway with support from
norad.no,
PEPFAR,
the Global Fund,
the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation,
the CDC,
the Global Vaccine Alliance,
UNICEF,
WHO, and others. The core DHIS2 development team is remote-first with a preference for CET and neighboring timezones. We also have onsite positions available in Oslo, Norway. We build an on-premise server product, more than 30 bundled web applications, and a suite of
platform tools for application developers working in local contexts.
These are a few of the positions we are currently hiring for, find the full list at
dhis2.org/careers:
- Frontend Software Engineer (React)
- Backend Software Engineer (Java/Spring)
- User Experience Designer
- Developer Advocate
- Security Engineer
To apply, send a resume and cover letter by email to
car...@dhis2.org and mention GitHub Open Source for Good in the subject line. We also welcome open-source contributions big and small!
Best,
Mala KumarSenior Program Manager, Tech for Social Good
