Hi Gregory,

I dont see a reason why it should not.
make sure you allow your app to connect to the interwebs.

The Air framework is extending the Flash/Flex API. I did not come
across anything that would not work on Air for devices yet and the GA
classes don't do anything special.

Thanks Filip!
That's why I asked:

"Note: Currently, Flash tracking is available for any Flash content embedded in a web page. Tracking of data sent from Adobe Air, Shockwave, or via the Flash IDE (e.g. using Test Movie) is not supported at this time. "

It's from here https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/other/flashTrackingIntro

Any idea why they put it that way?

Cheers,
g

You can (or at least you could last time I checked) send requests directly to the GA tracking servers without having the ga.js on your page (hence the two modes in GAForFlash). You should use the direct mode and check that your calls are going through with the visual debugger...

(I have a few live projects which send data directly to the __utm.gif tracker (Flash and non Flash based) which are currently working, so you should be good to go)

I'm currently using it in a Flash Builder (AIR) app on iOS: SPONSOREDby

Works fine with just a few small issues such as not tracking the mobile platform, and the ecommerce stuff isn't done.
