All,

Last year we did a survey on the amount of mailbox "stuffers" (events,
invitations, studentactivities etc.) that were put in students
mailboxes over a few months time.

One month alone yielded over 57 pounds or (11 reams or 1.1 cases of
copy paper) of total "stuffers" put in students mailboxes. luckily 90%
was thrown in the recycle bins located right there at post office
boxes but it is more important to reduce than to recycle.

How are other campuses reducing the amount of paper used for
stufffers, posters, flyers, etc.

thanks

Eddie

I know our RAC (Recreation Activities Center) at Georgia Southern University has significantly reduced their budget for printing b/c they are reaching out with social networking and other electronic approaches. They've found it to be as effective if not more so.
