Hello G4H Volunteers,

Spring is in full swing and we have several opportunities for folks to
plug in. Many of you have outstanding volunteer commitments, so I
would be extremely grateful for any help you can give. Please contact
me ASAP if you can help with any of these needs:

Little Creek Trailer Park AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM, May 9 &16, We are in
the process of building a new community garden at this site and are
working with children and their families to build it. We meet at 3:45
Wednesdays.

Little Creek Community Garden BUILD DAY, Sunday, May 20, 10am-4pm:
Have you ever seen a garden built in a day? Here's your chance to be
a part of what is sure to be an amazing day of garden construction.
Little Creek is located 3/4 of a mile from downtown Dryden on Rt. 13
on the right just before TC3.

Annual Plant Sale and Plant Sale Prep, May 19, 9-1pm at the National
Guard Armory, Hanshaw Rd. Our 2nd year at this epic event will surely
be exciting! Last year, the sale was attended by over 3000 gardeners
and could be even bigger this year. We need 3-4 volunteers to work
shifts the day of who are comfortable with a fast-paced RETAIL
environment and are can field basic gardening questions. We also need
help with PREP around the office in the days leading up to the event
preparing our plants, labels and displays by appointment. We are also
looking for someone to do CHILDCARE for myself and volunteers the day
of the event.

Finger Lakes ReUse Trade, Tripphammer Mall by appointment. We have an
outstanding work trade with ReUse for lumber that will be used at our
garden sites for cold frames, raised beds and sheds. You can work at
the ReUse Center or at a deconstruction site. Please contact me for
more info.

Sign Painting at CCE by appointment, We are looking for a special
someone with artistic painting skills to PAINT SIGNS for our gardens.
