Anvilox (DJI) which currently makes the most powerful motors for the MTB market has just entered the Road and Gravel market with it's outrageously powered Anvilox M2S motor which produces 130 Nm of torque at 1300 Watts.
The Spanish bike brand Megamo is the 1'st brand to produce Road and Gravel models specifically engineered around the Anvilox M2S motor.
Seeing that the UCI already sanctions E-Cross Country and E-Enduro events, we can anticipate UCI sanctioned E-Gravel events as early as 2028.
With no technical regulations currently drafted, it appears that Manufactures and the Market will dictate how much power the Gravel bikes will wield by the time of the 1'st season of UCI Gravel racing. After that, we can anticipate UCI Homologation on approved motors stipulating power and torque limits.
